Club Hunts and Activities
We make an effort each year to have at least two group hunts each year.
To participate, your club membership must be paid by September 30 of
each year. There is a fee for each hunt. $10 for the Beach hunt and
$15 for the Seeded Coin hunt.
All of the money collected for the Beach hunt is used toward silver
coins for the Seeded Coin hunt. A prize is awarded for the most
number of coins found.
All of the money collected for the Seeded Coin hunt goes into the
club's treasury and will be used toward funding the hunt for the
following year.
Lots of silver coins, other coins or relics, and prize tokens will
be planted. Prize tokens will be redeemed toward items donated by
sponsoring metal detector companies, metal detector dealers, and
club members. A trophy is awarded for the most number of finds.
